Moving Here
Museum of London
Project Description:
Why simply provide text on a website, when you can enrich it with pictures and sound? Two historical characters tell of their lives in London past, for a new educational website set up by the Museum of London. Dramatically lit and shot in high definition on the new JVC HD100 camcorder.
Testimonial:
"I was delighted with these clips for the Moving Here website. The clips are intended to evocatively capture the experiences of two immigrants to Victorian London. One character is from Africa, the other from Asia. A secondary objective was to feature the wonderful recreated London street exhibits: the Victorian Walk at the Museum of London and Sailor Town at the Museum in Docklands. With only a half day filming in each museum, Screensaver managed to capture powerful images which give meaning to the 4-5 minute scripts. The pieces will be viewed both on computers and blown up on interactive whiteboards as schools use the website with their classes."
